The Devil's World, Temptation & Spiritual Warfare

The Last Pin Standing

The world is the devil’s bowling alley and we are the pins. (1 John 5:19)  The devil takes particular delight in knocking down Christians.  He tries to topple us with systems of temptation, adversity and persecution – and to give the devil his due, he’s an excellent bowler.  But what Satan hates most is when he has bowled his best and a stubborn pin won’t fall down. (1 Peter 5 8-9)

If we rely on our own power to stand firm in the devil’s world, it’s only a matter of time before we are bowled over.  However, God has not left us alone to face the devil’s fierce onslaught.  He has thrown down many life-lines (His promises) and if we hold firm (through faith) nothing in this world can knock us down. 
We must stand firm in the Word and hold tight to God’s life-lines.  At times, the devil's world may knock us around, but if we are trusting in God when problems inevitably hit we will bounce back and remain standing tall – much to Satan’s frustration. 
Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11

Lessons Learnt

In eternity-past, angels were created in heavenly paradise.  From their beginning they enjoyed God’s unrestrained love and blessings.  They knew nothing of suffering, sickness, aging or corruption – these were abstract concepts to them which they had no personal experience. It is only through the consequences of the Fall and human history that angels are learning (and experiencing) God’s attributes of judgement and grace.
Conversely, humans are born into a corrupt world filled with suffering, violence, deprivation and pain.  However, as Christians, we are told that when we die all these horrible things will pass away (Rev 21:4).  We will then be the recipients of God’s unrestrained love and blessings (as were the angels).  We will never again feel pain, suffer or get sick.  In our present condition, it is beyond our comprehension to grasp how wonderful eternity will be.

Human history is lesson-time for both angels and humans.  God never wanted to teach about judgement, suffering and death; He created both angels and humans in perfect environment.  However, when a being is created with absolute free-will, eventually rebellion is bound to happen.  God, being perfect, must deal with the repercussions of sin.  In so doing He demonstrates to all His creatures that a perfectly loving God still has to condemn sin if He is to remain perfectly fair, just and righteous. God has to judge and condemn all fallen creatures; however, God has another attribute to teach us about: GRACE. 
As angels watch human history they witness God’s justice and grace in action (1 Peter 1:12).  We humans are the recipients of God’s grace in our self-induced classroom of suffering.  Romans 6:23 states: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For any person who believes in Christ, human history and suffering are thankfully a short lesson. 
As angels continue to watch us humans to learn more about God’s justice and grace, we too must ask ourselves if we are learning our lessons.  Most importantly, accepting God’s gift of salvation by believing in Jesus Christ – He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him, John 3:36.
God wants all to come to Christ and eternal life.  In heaven, God has so many wonderful lessons to teach us – an eternity of His unrestrained love and blessings. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.  There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. (Rev 21:4).

The Omniscient Chess Player

To Satan, we humans are pieces on a chessboard to be sacrificed without a second thought.  Since humanity began, the devil has been maneuvering so he can yell ‘CHECKMATE’ to God.  At times it seemed he had the game nearly in the bag (the Garden of Eden, the Flood, the Exodus and so on).  So many times Satan has yelled, ‘CHECK’, but at the last minute God has always blocked him.  Throughout human history the devil has tried to secure his win with a ‘CHECKMATE’.  However, much to his annoyance, God is an all-knowing, omniscient chess-player and is always one step ahead to block that anticipated final move. 
At the cross, God turned the game around and said ‘CHECK’ to Satan.  Since then, the devil has tried desperate moves, callously sacrificing his pieces to get out of God’s ‘CHECK’.  Now, it is plainly evident to all that Satan is playing a losing game.  At the end of time, God will say to Satan: ‘CHECKMATE’, and all the devil’s pieces will be removed from the board.

Human history is like the chessboard and we humans are the chess pieces; however, unlike normal chess pieces, we humans have free-will and can decide in which direction we move.  The game is winding up.  Satan is desperate.  He is frantically trying to recruit new pieces to sacrifice.  If he can, the devil will employ God’s pieces to use against Him. 
We must question whose side of the board we are on.  Just because we are Christians doesn’t mean God is moving us.  We mustn’t fool ourselves - if we are not allowing God to work freely in our lives and move us where He will, we are Satan’s pawns - there is no middle ground.  We must continuously resist the devil by giving ourselves, as a living sacrifice, to God to use wisely and graciously.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5: 8.

Problems Rulers Face

Throughout history we have seen many rulers.  Generally, they can be separated into two categories – the benevolent ruler who will put his nation’s needs before his own, and the tyrannical dictator who will always put his own needs before the nation’s.  A universal problem facing all rulers is the numerous attempts from their subjects to usurp their authority. 

God is a benevolent Ruler – He puts human needs before His own, as seen on the Cross.  Like other rulers, God has had His fair share of mutinies.  Satan (once God’s right hand man) started a rebellion, taking with him one third of God’s angels, and later seizing rulership of the earth from Adam, (Isa 14:12-14, Rev 12:4a).
Satan is a tyrannical dictator.  He puts his needs before those he rules.  However, don’t assume Satan’s tyrannical rule is without problems.  If this world is a reflection of Satan’s kingdom, he must spend a lot of time thwarting rebellious attempts within his own ranks.  Those who follow Satan are like him – treacherous and disloyal.  One wonders how many disgruntled fallen-angels, sick of being under Satan’s failing leadership and believing they could do a better job, have led a rebellion against him.  By now fallen-angels must realise that Satan has all but lost the battle and they backed the wrong ruler.  Even when our Lord Jesus Christ walked the earth so many of fallen angels seemed to be going insane.  As Jesus said in Mark 3:24, “If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand”.
As Christians we can relax about bad rulers. Kingdoms will come and go but in the end our benevolent God will rule supreme. When Christ rules all wrongs will be turned right, tyrannical dictators will be dealt with, and warfare will happily be a thing of the past.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with trumpets of God.  And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.  And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 1 Thess. 4:16-17.

Personal Attacks

A dictator is rarely seen to personally attack enemy soldiers on the front line.  In World War II, Hitler didn’t personally fight opposing soldiers in the trenches; he was far too busy at Headquarters: leading, planning and administering. 

We may claim we are being personally attacked by the Devil, but this is highly unlikely. Almost certainly, Satan is completely oblivious to our individual existence; he is far too busy leading, planning and administering.  The Bible indicates in Job 1:6-7 that Satan still has access to Heaven and spends much of his time there, appealing his case and slandering certain believers.
Since Christ’s victory on the Cross, things aren’t going very well for Satan.  Satan must be overwhelming busy scheming to outmanoeuvre God. Simultaneously, he must be trying to quell rebellion in his own ranks of demoralised fallen angels who now realise they joined a lost cause.
Unlike God, Satan is not all-knowing or all-powerful and he cannot be everywhere at once.  To deal with pesky Christians, Satan and his fallen-minions have ingeniously set up many obstacles to entrap us (systems of pride, lust, hatred, to name a few).  Only when we pass through these obstacles, will we receive personal attention from one of Satan’s many minions. In Acts 19:15, we see a group of itinerant Jewish exorcists who learnt the hard way they weren’t on the enemies’ radar: And the evil spirit answered and said. “Jesus I know, Paul I know; but who are you?”
Until we reach the spiritual maturity of the Apostle Paul, Satan has nothing to worry about in us.  It’s only when we faithfully keep advancing and start bringing glory to God that our name may reach the Devil’s ears.  Pending that time, we are just clumsy Christian soldiers, getting tripped up in our pride and blown up with our lustful desires.  Satan doesn’t need to personally attack us when his world is filled with diabolical schemes designed to take each of us down.
Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11.

Unsuspecting Insects

The spider is a cunning insect.  It spins an almost invisible web across the path of its prey and then patiently waits for unsuspecting insects to pass by.  Then when a bug falls into the web it soon becomes entangled and is at the spider’s mercy.  Now that the insect is caught, the spider will secure it by wrapping it with more webs and, at leisure, sucks the nourishment from it.  

Satan is the biggest spider of all.  He lurks unseen in the background and relies on his many webs of lies and deceit to catch his prey (2 Corinthians 11:14).  Like the spider, he doesn’t usually chase his prey – he waits for it to come to him.  Satan has spun many ingenious and near-invisible webs to entangle us (insects).  Webs that appeal to our pride, our self-righteousness, our lust for power, success, popularity, wealth, fame and so on.  No matter what sort of person we are Satan has spun a web that can catch us. 
Once entangled, we are at his mercy and it’s very hard to break free (John 8:44).  Ever so slowly, we become entwined in our lust for: power, approbation or gratification. Then, inevitably, we are immobilized with the bitterness, jealousy and depression that follow being entangled in sin.  Soon, the only purpose we can possibly serve is to nourish Satan’s self-glorifying plans.
How do we avoid becoming snared in Satan’s invisible systems of lies and deceit?  We look to God.  He knows the whereabouts of every web spun by Satan.  If we take our lead from our Lord Jesus Christ and choose the paths He walked, Satan’s webs will never entangle us and we will be a living testimony to the glory of God.

Humanity's Decision

God created a great ship called Decision to protect humanity from a sea of hellish-lava. The ship had one deck, divided into three areas. God placed all people on the middle deck called, Choice. On the starboard side stood Jesus Christ; on the port side, Satan. God gave humanity one task: choose your captain with whom you wish to sail.
Jesus urged those on the Deck of Choice to come to him quickly – he held the way to Heaven. Soon, the gates separating the decks would close, and the time for choosing would end.
Satan shouted back, insisting there was plenty of time. He lit dazzling fireworks, luring many to his side.
Jesus told the people he had made an Eternal-life Jacket for everyone and pleaded with them to join him and receive everlasting life.
Satan laughed loudly, saying Christ was a fool – humanity’s ship was unsinkable.  They didn’t really need a captain; in fact, they could all be their own captains. He then lit more fireworks to dazzle humanity. Many people laughed at Jesus with his silly life-preserver and wandered over to Satan.
Yet, many remained undecided, listening to both but refusing to choose. Jesus implored them again, pointing to the life jackets – assuring them no one would be turned away. Some hurried over to him, but many stayed on the mid-deck.
Satan kept shouting for people to ignore Christ’s warnings and watch his grandest firework of them all. The undecided stayed to see it, believing they had more time. But the firework spun out of control, slamming into the ship’s bow. A great explosion tore the hull open, and hellish-lava flooded in. The gates slammed shut, trapping each person where they stood. The Ship of Decision began to sink.
Jesus wept as the unused Eternal-life jackets slid into the lava. He told his followers to pull the cords on their life-preservers. Instantly, Wings of Righteousness appeared, lifting them to Heaven. Jesus was the last to leave, heartbroken as the others plunged into the lava – none of them needed to be there.
As he rose, those left behind on the Deck of Choice cried out that they hadn’t made their decision. Jesus called back, "The time for choosing is over."
"But we didn’t choose Satan!" they protested.
"No, but you didn’t choose me either," Jesus said sadly. "Humanity’s voyage is over – it was as inevitable as death. Only those who believed in me have been given the means of escape. The rest must go down with the ship."
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Resistance Fighters

In the main, resistance fighters are average citizens fighting for freedom in a territory overrun by the enemy - often at great risk to themselves and their families.  Resistance takes many forms – gathering intelligence, producing underground newspapers, sabotaging enemy plans, assisting escaped POWs and allied troops.   Resistance fighters depend heavily on outside help to obtain valuable information and supply needs crucial to continuing their opposition.

God has called all Christians to be resistance fighters in a territory (the Devil’s kingdom) overrun by the enemy.  We are citizens of humanity, fighting for the spiritual freedom of our fellow man.  Outside help is crucial to our resistance.  We rely on God to supply our needs.  He has provided our essential information (the Bible), and equipped us with weapons (not physical - but spiritual). 
As Christians, we can do many things to aid the resistance: (1) Gather intelligence (learn Biblical truths). (2) Spread that information (the Gospel) any way possible.  (3) Arrange Christian meetings in safe locations (church).  (4) Sabotage the enemy’s (Satan’s) plans - through prayer.  (5) Refuse to participate in actions (sin) that aid and advance the enemy’s cause.  (6) Aid fellow resistance fighters (teachers of God’s Word) in any way possible.   
As with all resistance, the risk can be great, but there will come a day when the occupying enemy is cast out and all sacrifices (great and small) will be remembered and rewarded.
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. (John 14:12)

The Snapping Turtle

A snapping turtle is one of the largest freshwater turtles in the world.  A unique characteristic of this rather strange creature is the way it captures its prey – it doesn’t chase, it tempts the prey to come to it.  This cunning turtle lies motionless on the river bed with its mouth wide open.  To entice any passing prey, it wriggles its worm-like appendage on the end of its tongue.  Then when an unwary victim enters its mouth, the turtle’s sharp jaws snap tight.

The world in which we live is filled with many enticing opportunities. A lot of these openings have very dark consequences such as: taking drugs, criminal activity and sexual infidelity.  However, not all ‘open doors’ come with flashing warning signs of bad repercussions.
From time to time, we are all presented with tempting opportunities – it may be a job offer, a new relationship or an investment opportunity. How do we determine if it will be good or bad for us?  When a new door opens, is it a door that God has opened, or is it the mouth of a diabolical snapping turtle complete with wriggling worm to tempt us in?  We live in the Devil’s World and he can entice us with some very attractive opportunities which can equally appeal to our moral or immoral side.  A fish that thinks it is beyond temptation is usually the easiest to catch.
God has given us two safeguards to keep us protected - His written word and His ‘still small voice’.  We should heed both before we advance.  If God’s word says: ‘No’, obviously we should not proceed further.
When tempting prospects are not clear-cut we should still move with caution and prayer.  We may have good intentions but as the old saying goes: ‘The road to hell is paved with good intentions’.  If we get a sense that something is not right, maybe we should listen to that ‘still small voice’ and not take up the new opportunity.
Sadly, there is not neon signs warning us away from life’s many traps.  At times we will make a mistake and take the bait.  SNAP – suddenly everything goes dark and we are dealing with bad repercussions.  Fortunately, if we trust in God, he can turn our mess into something meaningful.  If we keep our eyes on Him, we will come out of our dark predicament wiser and stronger.  (Romans 8:28)
“Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation.  The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41

Imitators

Satan was the most beautiful creature ever to come from the hand of God and, of all God’s creatures he was given the most.  Yet, it wasn’t enough.  There came a day when Satan questioned needing God and, instead, sought to be his own god to live free under his own authority. (Isaiah 14:12-14)
Well, what sort of a god does Satan make?  As he seeks his self-sufficient existence away from God, he depends on God to uphold the universe.  He demands God deal with him honestly and fairly, yet he himself deals in deceit.  As he seeks freedom from God, he enslaves those around him.  As he seeks his independent power, he steals power from others.  While he intends never again to bow before God, he demands that everyone else bow to him. 

Of all the illustrations that can be used to illustrate mankind, sadly, Satan is the best.  Let us not fool ourselves; before we are born-again (saved) we are all imitators of Satan (John 8:44).  Happily, this status-quo doesn’t have to remain that way.  As we advance in the Christian life, we hopefully shed the old ways for something much, much better.  Ever so slowly, as we progress by keeping our focus on Christ, we stop imitating Satan and start exhibiting the perfect qualities of our Lord.
The only real hope for the devil’s world is Christ’s return.  The only real hope for our lives individually is inviting Christ to be part of it.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:10-11

Cyber Attack

In our modern world, cyber-warfare is a constant threat. Hackers use viruses, phishing scams, and data breaches to steal information, corrupt systems, and cause chaos. That’s why cyber security is essential – firewalls, antivirus programs, and strong passwords keep dangerous intrusions out and protect what’s valuable. Without them, our personal information and vital systems are wide open to attack.

In much the same way, we live in the Devil’s world and are caught in a spiritual war – an invisible battle for our hearts and minds. We live in enemy territory, in the middle of a silent war for our souls. The devil uses subtle tactics to infiltrate our minds – entertainment with worldly-attitudes that normalises sin, media that mocks God, friends who pressure us to compromise, and busyness that pushes God to the edges of our lives. These are not harmless ideas – they’re designed to weaken our faith and cut us off from God’s truth.
That’s why we need the ultimate spiritual security – studying God’s Word and praying regularly. This is like putting ¬up strong firewalls around our minds, stopping destructive ideas before they can take root. God’s Word trains our thinking, and prayer keeps our hearts tuned to Him, ensuring that the “malware” of worldly thinking doesn’t slip past unnoticed.
If we neglect God’s Word, it’s like turning off our antivirus protection – eventually, lies and temptations creep in. Wrong thinking starts to seem reasonable and our standards slip without us even noticing. Before long, compromise feels normal, and God’s voice fades into static.
But the good news is, with God’s armour in place, we can resist every attack. He has given us everything we need for victory. God’s Truth is our ultimate firewall. Daily Bible study is our update system. Prayer is our secure connection to Heaven’s command centre, giving us real-time wisdom and strength. So, stay in His Word, guard your heart, and you’ll stand strong – no matter what the enemy throws at you.

Joining the Royal Family

Once upon a time, four neglected children lived with a cruel, selfish stepfather. He cared nothing for their wellbeing. They wore tattered clothes, often went hungry and lived in constant fear of his violent temper. Their future looked bleak.
Then one day everything changed. The stepfather was arrested for the murder of their mother and taken away to await his sentence. The children were left alone with no home, no security and no one to care for them.
When news of the tragedy spread, a kind prince offered to adopt the children. He met with them personally and explained that all the legal arrangements had been completed. Every expense had been paid, and he solemnly promised to always love, protect and provide for them as his own. All they had to do was sign the adoption papers. The moment they did, they would exchange rags for royal robes, fear for security and hopelessness for a future filled with love. They would become members of the royal family and share the prince’s inheritance.
Surely every one of them would eagerly accept such an astonishing offer. But one child refused. He spat on the adoption papers, kicked the prince in the shin and declared that he would rather grow up like his wicked stepfather.

This simple story illustrates a profound spiritual truth. Satan is the present ruler of this fallen world, but his judgement has already been declared and his final sentence is certain (Rev. 20:10). God, in His great love, desires to rescue us from that cruel master. He has done everything necessary to make us His children, sending His Son, the Prince of Heaven, to pay the full cost of our adoption. All we must do is accept Christ by faith. The moment we trust Him as our Saviour, we are adopted into God’s family and become heirs of an eternal Kingdom.
How tragic it would be to reject such a generous offer. Those who turn away from Christ will ultimately share Satan’s final destiny, but those who trust in Him become children of God, receive everlasting life and an inheritance beyond anything this world can offer. The King of kings is still inviting people to become part of His royal family. Will you accept His invitation?
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him may be saved.  John 3:17

Vampires

Vampires are the stuff of dark tales—creatures of the night that seduce their victims with charm and mystery. They're alluring, powerful, and terrifyingly hard to kill. Once they sink their fangs in, they drain the life out of their prey. According to legend, the only sure way to destroy a vampire is a wooden stake driven through the heart. They hate the light. And they flee from the sight of a cross.

Sinful desires work in eerily similar ways. Lust for pleasure, power, attention, or wealth can be just as seductive and just as deadly. They promise fulfilment but leave us empty. They feed off us—bit by bit—until there’s nothing left. A man chases pleasure in pornography and finds himself addicted. A woman seeks attention online and ends up tangled in an affair. Another hungers for wealth and ends up enslaved to gambling debts. Some seek power or attention, only to hurt those closest to them through lies, violence, or betrayal. These all begin with a tempting whisper but can end in ruin.
And like vampires, once these desires sink their teeth in, they don’t let go easily. They grow stronger in the dark, hidden places of our hearts, and try to convince us we’re already too far gone.
But there is hope. When we realise we’ve let these desires get a hold it's time to act. Admit our powerlessness. Bring our struggle into the light. Invite Jesus in. As the ‘Alcoholics Anonymous’ steps reflect, we must:

• Acknowledge the problem. (Romans 7:18)
• Believe that God can restore us. (Jeremiah 17:14)
• Turn our will and lives over to Christ. (Romans 12:1)
• Confess our sins. (1 John 1:9)
• Continue in prayer and accountability. (James 5:16)
• Make amends where possible. (Matthew 5:23–24)
• Walk in daily dependence on Him. (Galatians 5:16)

Just as vampires flee from crosses, our lusts lose their grip when we fix our minds on Jesus and think Biblical thoughts. We must bring our sinful cravings, habits, and wounds to Christ. Through His death and resurrection, the curse is broken. The Cross drives straight into the heart of every dark desire.
So don’t live in the shadows. Step into the light. You don’t have to be drained any longer—there’s life, and life abundant, in Christ.
“And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” Galatians 5:24

Little Red and the Wolf

In the familiar tale of Little Red Riding Hood, Little Red heads off to see her gran with good intentions. The wolf doesn’t attack straight away – he simply chats, sounds polite, and draws out more information than she should’ve shared. With that, he moves ahead, disguises himself, and sets the trap. His danger isn’t brute force but quiet manipulation.

Satan often works the same way. He seldom leads with obvious evil; instead, he watches, waits, and nudges us when we’re vulnerable. We can be like Little Red – walking in the right direction but underestimating how subtle the enemy can be. His greatest tricks are the ones that sound familiar, friendly, or even sensible.
Sadly, our deepest devotions can become entry points for trouble if we drop our guard. Worship can drift into emotionalism or ritual. Serving can slide into burnout or bitterness. A hunger to grow can make us vulnerable to teaching that sounds spiritual but isn’t biblical. As the wolf used Little Red’s caring heart, Satan can twist our best intentions if we’re not alert.
This is why we need to ask probing, Spirit-led questions: Who actually benefits if I follow this path? Is this drawing me closer to Jesus or just keeping me busy? Does it honour God? What’s motivating me – love of God or fear of disappointing someone?
If we find ourselves in trouble like Little Red, we must flee to the Woodsman – Jesus. He rescues, protects, and restores us with strength the enemy can’t withstand. Christ’s teachings cut through the deception. If Christ is our guide, we will avoid the wolf’s big teeth and can continue forward with confidence, clarity, and renewed courage.

Living in Paradise Lost

The decisions of a king affect his entire nation. If he governs wisely, his people prosper. If he squanders the nation’s wealth, everyone bears the cost – even future generations. When a king declares war, he does not fight alone; his decision affects every citizen.

In the beginning, God created a perfect paradise for mankind. There was no death, disease, pain or suffering. It was never His design for us to live in a corrupt world or in dying bodies. God placed Adam in this perfect creation and entrusted him with the freedom to choose.
Adam was the head of the human race. When he chose to rebel against God, his decision did not affect him alone. Like a king whose choices shape the destiny of his people, Adam’s rebellion brought consequences upon every generation that followed. Humanity was expelled from paradise, spiritually separated from God, and subjected to physical death.
When tragedy strikes, we often point a finger towards heaven and ask, “How could God allow disasters, disease and war?” Yet we must remember that we are no longer living in Eden. The world we experience today is not the paradise God originally created – it is the world mankind has corrupted through sin. As each generation continues making sinful choices, the suffering only deepens. This is not God’s failure; it is humanity living with the consequences of its rebellion against its Creator.
God is perfect righteousness and He cannot simply overlook sin. His justice demands that evil be judged, for “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Rom. 3:23). Yet God is also perfect love. Rather than leaving us under condemnation, He chose to bear our punishment Himself. God entered our broken world in the person of Jesus Christ and willingly bore the consequences of our rebellion. As Scripture declares: “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive” (1 Cor. 15:22).
Because Christ died on the Cross and rose again, the way back to paradise is open. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31). Adam lost paradise through one act of disobedience, but through faith in Christ we can reclaim paradise by receiving the gift of eternal life (John 3:16).
So stop searching for Heaven in this fallen world – you will never find it here. Our hope is not in repairing a broken world but in the Saviour who came to rescue us from it. Christ offers forgiveness today and the promise of a perfect paradise tomorrow. The decision is now ours.
